As the name implies, it is the editor of GTA resource files, the ones that contain the texts, titles and messages of the game. It is mainly focused on the use for translation of files in the native language. Supports.gxt files from GTA2, GTA 3, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas. Additionally, the archive includes 2 original fonts from GTA. Website: Works with: Release/Version: 1.3. GXT files are used in GTA 2 and later and there is one GXT file for each language. They are typically stored within the text directory of a GTA installation. You can modify GTA: San Andreas and GTA: 4 GXT files with the X GXT Editor and GTA: Vice City GXT files with the GTA: Vice City GXT Editor. The first (?) vice city modding tool: a gxt editor. The gta3 gxt editor won't work with vice city gxts because vice city uses a somewhat more complicated format for the gxt files (multiple TKEYs and TDATs per gxt), so i made this little tool.
