@reaj, maybe your cartridge dirty or broke. cleaen the chips or replace with new cartridge chips

I was able to restore my Epson R220 after over a year of lost hope for this little guy (tried the link for the R220-230 first and kept getting a message about a missing DLL – perhaps because I was trying to use the program under Vista). I’ve reached the counter limit, my counter reads 101% usage so a my printer needs service for recounter….which is painstaking because I have to bring it to the technician. Unfortunately our technician wont be available for one week and I can’t afford to wait too long for the service. Thankfully I stumble upon a forum and saw a post that directed me to this link. Printer Model – R230
Waste Ink Pad Counter Reseted to 0 (Zero) successfully.
After Restarting the printer it is blinking both the Red lights on both left buttons.
On Clicking get status – it is showing Fatal Error.
