Hi fedddda and welcome. Sony do not support a clean install of Windows 8.1. The supplied drivers and software only support an UPGRADE as many of the drivers are updates to drivers already installed in Windows 8. The existing drivers need to be already installed. There is also a shortcut in your Start menu under All Programs → Army Counseling Online The software was previously installed on your system and has since been removed. It seems that the intel gma 500 driver 5.0.0.2026 is newer than driver version 8. Avaiable in the sony site, but I did install the intel driver and lost the option of resolution of 1280×600 (that’s nice feature, 1600×768 is damn small and hard to see!). As I see it there are 2 media libraries/servers - Windows Media Centre and VAIO Media Plus, 4 trial versions of software I don't want, more double-ups of photo-editing and organising suites, control panel applets that windows already has, and so on. Ok guys, I have solved the problems. Even though I clean installed Win 8.1 I needed to install the Vaio Control center V. 6.0 from Win 8 not the one from Win 8.1 as it is an update version and doesn't fully function without the prior version.

Uninstalled all blackmagic software in control panel,

Deleted folders permanently,even did a regedit delete of everything black magic
Reinstalled and still getting the same prompt.

This is ridiculous, i've already had multiple problems with this program (besides the current one), before i've even opened it.
Nevertheless, Shotcut here I come. Will not recommend this software...

That's 23 bits of software I'm not sure I really need.
As I see it there are 2 media libraries/servers - Windows Media Centre and VAIO Media Plus, 4 trial versions of software I don't want, more double-ups of photo-editing and organising suites, control panel applets that windows already has, and so on.
The only items I can see of value are:
Windows® Media Center, maybe PMB, Evernote, maybe VAIO Gate, and maybe VAIO Recovery Centre.
Question - when this thing arrives, how easy is it to clear all of the crap off and start with a nice, fresh version of Windows???
Anyone else think this is a ridiculous amount of extra crap to be pre-loading? And I'm sure there'll be other bits and pieces on there that they haven't listed.
